Meet The Team
Dr Nicola Havemann
Dr Nicola Havemann is an experienced general practitioner with a special focus on longevity, aesthetics and dermatology. She studied a bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (UCT), Tropical Medicine (Wits) and Diploma in Anaesthesia, before finding her passion in dermatology and preventative medicine, when she attained the Advanced Diploma in Aesthetics and Anti-ageing medicine (FPD).
She works Dr Sian Hartshorne in Plettenberg Bay when she isn’t at the Blue Zone.
In her practice at the Blue Zone patients are assessed holistically to devise individualised treatment plans in clinical dermatology, aesthetic medicine, medical weight loss and longevity science. She will kindly bring everything together for you holistically, in order to prevent disease and optimise your health and improve your vitality.
Sr Catherine Rodwell
Sr Catherine Rodwell qualified as a Midwife, Community, Psychiatric Nursing sister, and specialised in Trauma at Wits Medical school. She worked as a Trauma sister at The JHB General hospital now known as Charlotte Matseke Hospital. She flew as a medivac nurse for several years for Europe Assist and Netair and worked in Trauma and Cardio Thoracic ICU.
Her work led her to training and has taught many people (parents, teachers, nannies, school children, corporates etc) how to save lives, through her company of many years teaching CPR and first aid. Under this banner she has run Caregiver courses for many years, changing the face of caregiving in this country.
With a passion for longevity, health and wellness as well as aesthetics, she has decided to embark on this wonderful journey of Blue Zone and will be bringing her expertise and passion to you on your journey of wellness, longevity and beauty.
